The Message of Acts

We will be starting a new sermon series on the Book of Acts in January, which will take us right the way through until the Summer. If you would like to go deeper in your own personal study, the series will be based on John Stott's commentary The Message of Acts. This is a very comprehensive commentary with a study guide at the back. If you're looking for something more accessible, I can also recommend Tom Wright's Acts for Everyone. It's also worth checking out the Bible Project's video overviews of the Book of Acts. These are always very helpful and enable you to see the overarching themes of the whole book. However, the best thing to do is always to go directly to the Book of Acts and read for yourself about the incredible spread of the Gospel in the years of the early church.
